Ms. Evester Roper Visits the Muskegon Heights Middle School
On Monday September 15, 2003 Ms. Evester Roper visited our school to tell us stories and sing songs. The stories she told were very interesting and everyone really enjoyed it. Her songs captured the audience's attention and filled them with happiness and joy .
This is a picture that was taken after Ms. Roper spoke. Starting from the right the adults include: Mayor Wilkins, Principal Bergan, and Ms. Roper. This picture also includes five 8th grade and one 7th grade Muskegon Heights Middle School students.
In this picture Mrs. Evester Roper sings to students and staff. The song she was singing was an old school song that everyone really enjoyed. Students and staff were very respectful.
Students and teachers listen and watch as Ms. Roper tells a story. This story was about a little girl who everyone thought was unattractive, and because of that they teased her. The only people that didn't tease her were her family members. At the end of the story the cutest boy in the school asked her to go with him.
In this picture Ms. Roper is singing a song called "In God's Eyes." This song made everyone feel really happy. When Ms. Roper got done singing everyone in the auditorium stood and gave her a big round of applause. Everyone enjoyed the assembly.
