On behalf of the faculty and staff of Ellen Grace Loftis Elementary School, I welcome you to our school website. Loftis Elementary School is a great place to be. We have an excellent staff, supported by great parents and an involved community. Students are challenged to meet and exceed learning requirements. The staff and I have made a commitment to design a students' work that is compelling, engaging, and satisfying. The staff has raised the bar of professionalism and we do hold each other accountable.

Loftis is a Reading First School. Learning is supported by Michigan's Integrative Behavior & Learning Support Initiative (MiBLSi). Staff and students are working on implementing Positive Behavioral Supports in every zone of our building. Other special programs our school offers are swimming, art, health, physical education, library, and computers.
