Hello Parents and Students:
It is great to be back in Muskegon Heights. We have started off to a great school year at Muskegon Heights Middle. We have a lot of great events coming up in Month of October. Please don't forget the PTO (Parent Teacher Organization). Lets continue the excellent standard we have set by this wonderful community.

Mr. Colton was born in Detroit, Michigan and was a football player at Ferris State University where he received his bachelor’s degree. He then attended Grand Valley State University where he earned his Master’s Degree and is currently pursuing his PHD. Mr. Colton is no stranger to Muskegon Heights Public Schools; in 1997 he served four years as a school social worker and counselor at the high school. Most recently, Bernard comes to us from Grand Rapids Public Schools where he served as assistant principal and athletic director.
